OUR VIRTUAL STUDIO IS OPEN… SO TAKE A CLASS TODAY!
About our virtual studio:
Our intention with this temporary online endeavor is to continue to offer the same incredible breath focused, community oriented yoga classes that you've come to love at South Hills Power Yoga and Bloomfield Yoga, but in the comfort of your own space during this uncertain time for all of us. Your participation in this platform not only helps you continue your yoga practice, but it is allowing our teachers to continue to make a living while we are unable to meet in person. Our online classes are open to all and run separately from our regular studio passes (which are all currently on pause). 100% (less the payment processing fee) goes to the teacher leading the class. Thank you for your continued support.
All classes are $6. Yoga classes are 60 minutes. Meditation classes are 30 minutes.
Currently, all of our online classes are "face-to-face" classes where you will be able to see/hear the teacher (and other students) and the teacher (and other students) will be able to see/hear you. (There is an option, however, with “face-to-face” classes to block your camera and microphone so only your name shows to the group. The teacher will explain this at the beginning of the session.)
Desktops and laptops work best for our online classes. Some users are not able to connect (or have reported connection issues) with smartphones and tablets.
Compatible browsers are: Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
We're so glad you're here. Let's (continue to) move together!
If you are currently unable to afford the virtual drop-in price of $6, please contact us at: admin@southhillspoweryoga.com and we will find a way to help you continue your practice. Additionally, a handful of FREE audio MP3 practices are available here.
Also, some of you have reached out and asked how you can support us now so we all have a studio to return to after this crisis. If you are able, one of the best ways to support our studios– and all of your favorite small businesses– is to purchase gift certificates now to redeem in the future when we return to regular operations. If you wish to do this, here are the links: South Hills Power Yoga Gift Certificates and Bloomfield Yoga Gift Certificates.

Dear BFY Community,
After much thought and consideration, we have made the very difficult decision to temporarily pause all in-person classes at Bloomfield Yoga from Monday, March 16 through, at least, Tuesday, March 31 as a way to do our part in mitigating the effect of COVID-19 in both our beloved yoga community and the community at large. We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and will update you with any additional changes.
During this time, we will pause all unlimited passes and offer extended expiration dates on class passes should that become needed once we get back into the studio.
The health and wellbeing of our teachers, volunteers, students and neighborhood has always been– and continues to be– our top priority. In this time of fear and uncertainty we realize how important the powerful practices of yoga and meditation are to all of us. This is why we will be shifting to online offerings starting mid-week. We will be sending out an email in the next day or two with more info on accessing our live-streaming classes and the live-streaming class schedule. Please note: The online classes will be separate from our regular studio passes and run on a $6 virtual "drop-in" rate per class with 100% (less the payment processing fee) going to the teacher leading the class to help supplement income loss during the closing of the studio.
In the meantime, follow this link to downloadable MP3 files of a 20-minute breath-based mediation and a 75-minute power yoga class with Stacey Vespaziani recorded this morning. We hope you enjoy.
Let's continue to move together,
~Stacey Vespaziani, Jennifer Lee and the BFY Teaching Team

Dear Bloomfield Yoga Community,
We just wanted to reach out to you today about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in regards to studio operations. At this point, based on CDC recommendations as well as advice from medical professionals, we feel comfortable continuing our daily operations as is with the following additional practices:
In addition to our regular cleaning schedule, we've asked the work/trade crew to sanitize often touched surfaces after every class.
We have also asked our teachers to eliminate all hands-on assists for the time being. We will reach out again when hands-on assists resume.
We are now asking you– our incredible BFY community– to:
Please wash your hands before and after class. And of course, stay home if you are sick.
We will continue to have mats and blocks available for your use, but we encourage you to bring your own. If you do plan to use studio props, including bolsters and blankets, please bring a clean towel from home to use between you and the borrowed prop.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. We will keep this page updated should anything change.
Thanks!
~Stacey Vespaziani, Jen Lee & the BFY Teaching Team
